A year after she was born her parents were killed, during a fight to protect her. The God Eater was killed after it had slaughtered Ayla's parents. The being who saved Ayla was a young girl named Rosa who was accompanied by a young lava dragon wolf clone names Sebastion. Rosa took Ayla into her care.
